MCX & NCDEX Agri Commodity Market Updayes

Gold prices may open on firm note tracking firm opening in international markets. Spot gold rose 0.7% on Monday, extending the previous session`s 1.2% rise. Base metals may remain under selling pressure and can trade lower. Copper may trade in range of 410-419 on domestic bourses. Crude oil prices can also dip lower. Crude oil prices can again test 4,100 in domestic market.

Industrial Metals continued to witness mixed movement last week even as Copper, Lead and Zinc  ended on a lower note while Aluminium and Nickel managed to close in positive territory.
Copper prices hit highs of $8880 a  ton at LME but pared all its gains to end the session $125 or  1.42% lower at $8696 a ton. 
Base Metals may witness very volatile movement this week. 

NYMEX crude
falls more than $1 Monday amid choppiness in equity markets and stronger US dollar. 
NYMEX crude rose 0.8% last week marking its fourth weekly gain. 
NYMEX natural gas fell 2.7% last week erasing all the gains noted a week ago. 
Natural gas fell last week amid mixed weather forecasts and bigger than expected rise in stocks.  

NCDEX Agri Commodity Market Updates:-

Pepper futures may trade firm holding the gains. Cardamom is likely to remain sideways on the back of higher arrivals and weak demand. Turmeric futures may continue to remain sideways on slack demand and higher availability. Jeera futures may remain sideways. Mentha oil futures may hold gains taking support above 1,240 levels. Chana futures making a life time high may remain upside. Soybean futures may continue to track the bearish price movements of U.S soybean prices.

MCX Gold, Silver, Base Metals, Crude Oil Updates Today

Gold prices slashed by more than 1% on Thursday as sentiments  relating to debt crisis recovered somewhat. On Friday, COMEX Gold futures are again witnessing sharp fall of $ 10 and are  trading at $ 1771 per ounce. Indian Gold prices also tumbled to Rs 27470 per 10  grams, down from Rs 28154 per 10 grams on Wednesday.

Gold futures fell to its lowest since late August on Thursday, as efforts by global central banks and top European powers to end the region's debt crisis prompted investors to dump safe havens.

Copper prices
rebounded from one-month low to end in green on Thursday boosted by a weaker dollar after reports of fresh liquidity injections by central banks in the fourth quarter cropped up. Crude oil prices gained on Thursday on getting news of assurance by the major central banks to bolster funding for European banks.

MCX Commodity Market Updates Today | MCX Gold & Silver Tips

Gold prices furthered their record breaking momentum on Friday by catapulting to fresh record crest for the fourth time this week, as marketmen continued to take refuge under the safe haven amid escalating fears of a double dip recession coupled with growing uncertainties looming over the Euro-zone debt crisis.

A session after the free fall, Copper prices recovered some lost ground on last trading session of the week after investors resorted to some short covering on expectations that top consumer China may take advantage of the prevailing lower prices and rebuild stockpiles amid speculations of supply constraints.

Crude prices
on Nymex fell on Friday in choppy trading, in morning trading, prices hit the day's highs, helped by a decline in the dollar and a rebound on Wall Street however equities turned lower later, weighing on the prices. Though, Brent rose, managing a small weekly gain as the dollar fell to a record low against the yen.

MCX Commodity Market Updates and News Today

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), COMDEX is trading up by 14.03 points, or 0.41%, at 3,447.29 after opening at 3,432.29. MCXMETAL is trading upward by 22.25 points, or 0.47%, at 4,765.75 after opening at 4,740.97. MCXENERGY is trading up 8.76 points, or 0.32%, at 2,788.46 after opening at 2,810.36. MCXAGRI is trading up 10.99 points, or 0.39%, at 2,817.52 after opening at 2,808.31.

Gold prices bounced back on Monday as traders resorted to safe haven buying after US economic reports indicated continued stress on the economy. Copper prices increased for the third straight session on Monday. Crude oil prices made a good rebound on Monday.

MCX & NCDEX Commodity Market Updates

Precious metals are trading mixed in COMEX today. Base metals are trading higher on International bourses today. Crude oil is trading marginally higher on NYMEX today. Gold prices receded from historical record levels on Thursday. Copper prices staged a strong performance on Thursday. The crude oil prices surged once again on Thursday and prices moved higher by over 3 percent for the day.

CHANA NCDEX AUG CLOSE PRICE 2976- Chana has support at 2950 which if breached can be seen approaching 2925. Whereas resistance is at 3005-3028. Mixed trade with firm bias is expected today.

MCX Commodity Market Updates & Report Today

Gold prices face stiff resistance near USD 1,780 in COMEX and it can dip towards USD 1,720-1,700 in near term. Silver can trade in range of 56,500-58,500 in MCX. Base metals may remain on positive note tracking firm international markets. Crude oil may open gap up in MCX tracking positive international markets. MCX Gold October contract is currently trading at Rs. 25742, it is up by Rs. 11 for the day. All Base Metals in MCX are trading on a positive note for the day. MCX Crude Oil Aug is trading at Rs. 3690, it is up by  Rs. 27 for the day.

• NYMEX crude trades higher Wednesday after 2.5% slide yesterday.

MCX Commodity Market Updates | MCX Trading Tips

MCX Gold prices record highs, currently MCX Gold trading above Rs. 24000. Yesterday MCX Silver prices touch record high after that it goes downward. Today MCX Silver trading near about Rs. 58000. Crude oil prices plunged on Thursday, sliding over 5 percent, their lowest level since February on worries about slowing economies in debt-laden Europe and the United States.

MCX Copper may trade with a negative bias tracking international exchanges.

MCX Commodity Market updates today

Bullions may continue yesterday gains tracking firm international markets. MCX Gold & Silver are trading on higher prices. MCX Gold is trading above Rs. 24000 and MCX Silver is trading above Rs. 61000. Base metals may open in red tracking weak opening in SHFE. MCX Copper may find some support at 420-425 while MCX nickel may find support at 1,040. Crude oil can witness some recovery after the recent sell off. Crude Oil rose from a five-week low in New York. Natural gas will eye the weekly inventory report as its prices can get support at 180 in MCX.

MCX Gold October contract is currently trading at Rs. 24145, it is up by Rs. 90 for the day. MCX Silver Sep contract is trading at Rs. 61645, it is up by Rs. 433 for the day. All Base Metals in MCX are trading flat for the day.  MCX Crude Oil Aug contract is currently trading at Rs. 4093, it is trading flat for the day.

Commodity Market news Today

US gold futures for August delivery settled up 80 cents at USD 1,590.10 an ounce, after trading between USD 1,576 and USD 1,592.80. Trading volume reached 120,000 lots, sharply lower than turnover in the previous two sessions.

Spot silver gained 2.2% to USD 39.02 an ounce, near a two-month high of USD 39.34 set on Thursday. Gold should rise to record highs above USD 1,700 an ounce in the next few months, based on technical charts. One analyst said that in theory, it could reach a shocking USD 5,000 an ounce should equity markets correct sharply.

Crude oil
is up nearly 2 percent. Crude oil is trading at 97.5 dollars per barrel. Crude oil closed above $ 97 on Friday was Naimaks. there is strength in gold prices. 1592 dollars with gold trading at $ 3 is the fastest. Closed Friday at $ 1590. silver has traded over $ 39 with an edge. Friday Comaks 1 per cent silver closed at $ 39 was faster.

Today MCX Commodity Market News and Trading Strategies

Bullions may witness some profit booking tracking weak opening in international markets. Gold can trade in range of Rs. 22,800-23,100 while silver can trade in range of Rs. 56,000-58,000 in MCX.  Gold hovered below its record high on Friday. 

Base metals can trade in red tracking weak opening in international markets. Today industrial production and consumer confidence data will give further direction to the base metals pack. Copper may trade in range of Rs. 428-430 while Lead can trade in range of Rs. 117-120 in near term.

Crude oil may trade sideways with negative bias. Crude oil may remain in range of 4,100-4,300 on domestic bourses. 

Spot gold was hovering below the record high levels as Fed ruled out additional stimulus measures. Spot gold had hit a all time of 1594.16 the previous day. Crude oil slipped earlier today after Standard and Poor put US’ credit ratings under review.

Bullions may open on positive note continuing yesterday gains but investors should be very cautious as prices have run up very quickly in short span of time. Comex gold futures prices soared to a fresh all-time record high of USD 1,588.90, basis August futures, in active trading Wednesday. 
  • Base metals may open on flat note tracking mixed overseas cues. 
  • Copper ended flat on Wednesday. 
  • Copper may trade in range of Rs. 430-435. 
  • Lead can tumble lower towards 118 on domestic bourses.
  • Crude oil can also trade on negative path as its prices can trade in range of Rs. 4,300-4,425 on domestic bourses.
MCX Gold August contract is currently trading at Rs. 22943, it rose by Rs.  23 in today's trade. 
MCX Silver July contract is trading at Rs. 57487, it is trading up by Rs. 676 for  the day.

Today MCX Commodity Market Report and Trends

Bullions may open on firm note tracking positive international cues. Gold may test Rs. 22,900 and silver Rs. 52,000 in domestic market. Spot gold held steady on Tuesday. Base metals may open on flat note amid mixed movement in SHFE. Copper rose on Monday as market sentiment brightened in the wake of solid US manufacturing data last week. Energy prices may also trade flat waiting for further economic data and European news. U.S. crude futures edged up on Tuesday to remain above USD 95 a barrel.

Gold futures moved higher on Tuesday after a warning by ratings agency Standard. Copper prices surged to its highest in more than two months on Monday. Crude prices moved higher on Monday, though the US markets were closed for the Independence Day public holiday.
  • MCX Gold August contract is currently trading at Rs. 21755, it is trading flat for the day. 
  • MCX Silver July is currently trading at Rs. 50280, it is down by Rs. 280 for the day.
    MCX Crude Oil July contract is currently trading at Rs. 4230. 
  • All Base Metals in MCX have opened marginally negative in today's morning  session.

MCX Commodity Market Report Today | FREE MCX Tips

Bullion counter may open on positive note tracking firm prices in electronic markets. Gold can also witness short covering after last week meltdown as its prices can test 21800 while silver can also bounce back to 52,000 levels in MCX. Base metals may continue its upside momentum tracking firm prices in SHFE. Copper extended gains on Monday after data last week showed that U.S. manufacturing grew at a surprisingly strong pace in June. Crude oil may remain sideways and lack of movement can be seen as NYMEX will remain closed due to holiday in US. Domestic market prices will trade in range of 4,200-4,280. 
  • Precious metals are trading marginally higher on COMEX today. 
  • Base metals are trading marginally higher on International bourses today. 
  • Crude oil is trading stable on NYMEX today.
Copper for three-month delivery on the LME advanced $31.25 or 0.3% to $9,430 a tonne.

Crude oil for August delivery
added 40 cents, to $95.34 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. In London, Brent crude oil for August delivery rose $0.07 to $111.84 a barrel on the ICE.

MCX Commodity Market News & trading tips today

Bullions: Bullions may open on weaker note tracking weak international cues. Rise in greenback and decline in crude oil prices are the prime reason for decline in this pack. Gold can trade in range of Rs. 22,000-22,400 while silver can trade in range of Rs. 50,000-53,000 in near term.

Base metals: Base metals may also open on weak note and tad further lower. Copper lost its footing on Monday on continued concern that inflation pressures may prompt top buyer China to tighten credit further along with demand worries linked to the euro zone debt crisis and a stronger dollar.

Energy: Crude oil may dip lower as it can test key support of 4000 in this week. Crude oil fell in New York on concern the economic expansion in the U.S. is slowing.

NYMEX crude fell 2% last week marking its fourth weekly decline.
Crude oil fell sharply last week.
Crude oil speculators trimmed net long position for the eight consecutive week 
NYMEX natural gas fell 2.2% marking its second weekly decline.  
Natural gas fell sharply last week amid lack of weather related demand and storm activity.
Natural gas speculators raised net short position for the second consecutive week.

Gold prices gyrated in a tight range around the neutral line this Monday as cautious investors remained on the sidelines. The yellow metal prices have plummeted around three percent in the past two sessions. Copper prices tumbled by around a percent point in early trades on Monday as investors took profits off the table after Friday's surge.  The red metal prices also slumped after top consumer China indicated that it could miss its inflation target this year. Crude oil prices continued to slither on Monday as investors speculated that release in stockpiles by IEA will lead supply to exceed demand and thereby dampen oil prices.

Gold futures for August delivery traded around unchanged levels at $1,500.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Copper futures for September delivery plunged 1.2%, to $4.0680 per lb on the Comex metals division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper for three-month delivery on the LME sank by 0.9%, to $8,965 a tonne.

Crude oil for August delivery
slipped 76 cents, to $90.40 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. In London, Brent crude for August delivery shed $0.87, or 0.8%, to $105.25 a barrel on the ICE.

MCX Commodity (GOLD, COPPER, CRUDE) Report Today

Gold futures settled sharply lower Thursday, tracking a broad commodities sell off to break a seven-session winning streak as prices of crude oil fell more than 4% and the U.S. dollar strengthened. Precious metals are trading marginally higher on COMEX today. We expect prices to remain under pressure on account of dollar weakness. Base metals are trading higher on International bourses today. We expect a bounce back in the prices in the following session; hence each rally should be considered as a good selling opportunity.  Crude oil is trading higher on NYMEX today. We expect prices to remain under pressure on account of release of emergency oil stockpiles coordinated by the International Energy Agency.

Gold for August delivery fell $32.90, to $1,520.50 an ounce.
MCX Gold August contract is currently trading at Rs. 22396, it fell by Rs. 325 in yesterday's trade.  

Silver for July delivery is trading marginally $35 an ounce, it was down by $1 yesterday. 

MCX Silver July is trading at Rs. 52470, it is down by Rs. 234 for the day.

All Base Metals in MCX are trading marginally positive for the day.

MCX Crude Oil July is trading at Rs. 4139, it is trading flat for the day.
