Daily Commodity MCX Report: MCX Energy index falls 0.97%

MCX Comdex - The composite index of metals, energy and agro-commodities was down by 0.59% to 3,447.68 points, MCX Metal index was down by 0.12% to 4,409.35 points and MCX Energy index was down by 0.97% to 3,171.07 points.

Bullion:

Gold April 11 contract was up by 0.10% to Rs 20,996 per 10 grams, 

GoldM April 11 contract was up by 0.11% to Rs 20,985 per 10 grams, 

Gold guinea April 11 contract was up by 0.11% to Rs 16,892 per 8 grams. 

Silver May 11 contract was up 0.04% to Rs 54,072 per kg, 

SilverM April 11 contract was up 0.01% to Rs 54,061 per kg and 

SilverMIC April 11 contract was up 0.04% to Rs 54,072 per kg.

Metals:

Zinc mini March 11 contract was up by 0.68% to Rs 103.70 per kg, 

zinc March 11 contract was up by 0.68% to Rs 103.70 per kg, 

lead mini March 11 contract was up by 1.08% to Rs 112.60 per kg and 

lead March 11 contract was up by 1.08% to Rs 112.60 per kg while

iron Ore April 11 contract was down by 1.68% to Rs 6,452 per DMT, 

nickel May 11 contract was down by 1.58% to Rs 1,180.90 per kg, 

alumini March 11 contract was down 0.57% to Rs 113.65 per kg, 

aluminium May 11 contract was down by 0.73% to Rs 115 per kg and 

copper April 11 contract was down by 0.93% to Rs 419.65 per kg.

Energy:

Natural gas March 11 contract was up by 1.31% to Rs 178.50 per MMBTU while crude oil March 11 contract was down by 1.28% to Rs 4,490 per barrel.

Agri commodities:

Menthaoil March 11 contract was  up by 3.85% to Rs 1,202.10 per kg, 

cardamom March 11 contract was up 3.19% to Rs 1,069.80 per kg, 

sugar May 11 contract was up by 0.28% to Rs 2,887 per 100 kgs, 

kapas April 11 contract was up 1.00% to Rs 1,171.10 per 20 kgs while 

potatotrwr May 11 contract was down by 4.00% to Rs 541.80 per 100 kgs, 

potato May 11 contract was down by 3.88% to Rs 654.40 per 100 kgs, 

refsoyoil April 11 contract was down by 1.37% to Rs 606.15 per 10 kgs, 

chana April 11 contract was down by 0.67% to Rs 2,523 per 100 kgs, 

guarseed April 11 contract was down by 1.12% to Rs 2,830 per 100 kgs,
