Sensex went up 115 pts, Axis Bank, Sun Pharma Top Gainers 21 Mar, 2016

Today, sensex index was trading near 25,068, up 115 points or 0.46 per-cent. It touched a high of 25,083.62 and a low of 24,988.27 in morning trade.

The Nifty-50 was trading at 7,640 up 36 pts or 0.48 per-cent.Then, it touched a high of 7,641.05 and a low of 7,617.70 in the first 30 mins of trade. The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.49 per-cent and S&P Smallcap Index was trading 0.58 per-cent high.

The major Sensex gainers: Axis Bank (up 1.7 per-cent), Shares of Sun Pharma (up 1.6 per-cent), HDFC (up 1.5 per-cent), SBI (up 1.5 per cent), and ITC (up 1.4 per-cent).

Shares of Adani Ports (down 1.5 per-cent), Lupin (down 1.5 per-cent), Asian Paints (down 1.5 per-cent) and Dr Reddy's Laboratories (down 0.74 per-cent) were the Sensex losers.

Stock market : Sensex unlocked flat 11 mar, 2016

The euro zone central bank on yesterday cut deposit rate by 10 basis pts to -0.4 per-cent from -0.3 per-cent & increased its monthly asset purchases volume to 80 billion from 60 billion earlier.

"Interest Rates will stay low, very low, for a long duration and well past the horizon of our purchases," Draghi told, referring to the bank's asset purchase programme, which is due to close in March 2017.

Today, Sensex jumps by 300 pts, Nifty futures regains 7200

Today, stock market gained more than 1 per-cent in early trade, tracking positive trend in global peers and oil rally. All sectoral indices were trading in green lines.

Today, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 297.08 pts or 1.27 per-cent to 23678.95 and the 50-share NSE Nifty futures climbed by 86.90 pts or 1.22 per-cent to 7195.35. The BSE Midcap & Smallcap indices also gained more than 1 per-cent.

Investors turn to secure haven assets 10 Feb

Amid concerns over slowing China & soft mcx oil prices, investors across markets are buying secure haven assets like sovereign bonds and gold. Since January world wide equity markets have shed $7 trillion in value — equivalent to the chinese total market capitalisation. Nifty went up by 17 points 5 feb, 2016

Today, the Nifty-50 was at 7,420 up 17 points or 0.23 per-cent. It attained a high of 7,425.50 and a low of 7,410.90 in the first 30 mins of trade.

The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.33 per-cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index was trading 0.20 per-cent high.

Bank nifty futures was at 7,373, Sun Pharma, HDFC gainers

Bank nifty futures tips

Today, 30-share index was trading at 24,284, down 254 points or 1.04 per-cent. It reached a high of 24,393.77 and a low of 24,263.65 in morning trade.

The Nifty-50 was at 7,373 down 82 points or 1.1 per cent. It touched a high of 7,392.55 and a low of 7,370.60 in the first 30 minutes of trade.

The S&P BSE Midcap Index went down 1.53 per-cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index was trading 1.54 per-cent lower.

Major Sensex gainers - Sun Pharma (up 1.5 per cent), HUL (up 1.2 per-cent), and HDFC (up 0.02 per-cent).

BHEL (down 2.7 per-cent), SBI (down 2.5 per-cent), ICICI Bank (down 2.4 per-cent), ONGC (down 2.2 per-cent), and Tata Steel (down 2.1 per-cent) were the Sensex losers.

Shares : Apple reported weakest iPhone sales since 2007

Share tips & updates : Company has told in reports that, this is the weakest sales ever of its market-leading iPhone, after years of rocketing growth, but the tech giant still disclosed record quarterly profit.

Total income for the quarter ending Dec 26 was two per-cent high than the same period a year ago at 18.4 billion USD, while revenue of USD 75.9 billion set another record for the company, also edging up two per-cent.

The results were largely in line with hopes that iPhones sales, the driver of two-thirds of Apple revenue -- had peaked & that of the company would need to find new ways of growth. Apple shares have slid 20 per-cent since previous year on these concerns.

Rupee rose 9 paise today 25 Jan, 2016

The rupee rose 9 paise to 67.53 as compared to US dollar in early trade on Monday amid positive cues from other Asian currencies.Click For Bullion tips

Domestic currency : The local currency ended with 39 paise high at 67.63 on Friday last week on fresh dollar selling by banks & exporters.

Most other Asian markets traded higher following on the rally seen in US markets on Friday last week and jump in prices of mcx crude. Japan's Nikkei was trading higher by a per-cent while the South Korean Kospi went up 0.95 per-cent. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index went up by 2 per-cent. China's CSI 300 index was also trading higher by a per-cent.

Nifty, Sensex recovers little bit today 14 jan, 2016

Today, Sensex is down 147.90 pts or 0.6 per-cent at 24706.21, while the Nifty down 49.15 points or 0.6 per-cent at 7513.25.

Around 485 shares have advanced, 1775 shares down, and 105 shares are unchanged.

Top gainers are - Infosys, Lupin, Dr Reddy's and TCS while Tata Steel,Hindalco, Tata Motors, Axis Bank and L&T are among losers in the Sensex.

The INR(rupee) fell to its weakest since Sep 2013, when the country was still in the midst of its worst market turmoil in more than last two decades, tracking falls in most Asian currencies against the USD as oil prices tumbled.
