DAILY COMMODITY GOLD TIPS & SILVER REPORT FOR 19/08/2014

GOLD 
Gold prices fell 0.82 per cent to Rs 28,420 per 10 grams in futures trade today amid a weak trend overseas and profit-booking by speculators. 

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Gold for delivery in December fell by Rs 236, or 0.82 per cent, to Rs 28,420 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 14 lots. 

Likewise, the metal for delivery in October shed Rs 224, or 0.78 per cent, to Rs 28,390 per 10 grams in 537 lots. 

Analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators, a weak trend in the overseas markets as the outlook for an improving US economy outweighed tension in Ukraine, weighed on gold prices at futures trade here. 

Globally, gold traded 0.6 per cent lower at USD 1,297.46 an ounce Singapore today. 

Agro Outlook 

CARDAMOM 
Cardamom prices surged 2.35 per cent to Rs 945.20 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created positions amid strong demand in the spot markets supported by festive season. 

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in far-month October shot up by Rs 21.70, or 2.35 per cent to Rs 945.20 per kg in business turnover of 62 lots. 

In a similar fashion, the spice for delivery in September contract gained Rs 13.80, or 1.48 per cent to Rs 944 per kg in 243 lots. 

Market analysts said fresh positions created by speculators driven by rising demand in the spot markets in view of festive season mainly led to the rise in cardamom prices at futures trade.

MCX Commodity Market Updates Today 04 April 2013


Silver prices fell by 1.10 per cent to Rs 51,984 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed their positions largely in tune with a weakening trend overseas after a stronger dollar reduced demand for safe haven. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Silver for delivery in far-month July traded lower by Rs 577, or 1.10 per cent, to Rs 51,984 per kg in business turnover of 190 lots. Similarly, the white metal for delivery in May declined by Rs 553, or 1.07 per cent, to Rs 50,920 per kg in business volume of 2,844 lots.

Taking cues from global markets and subdued demand from domestic consuming industries, lead prices eased by 0.31 per cent to Rs 112.50 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced their exposures. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in May fell 35 paise, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 112.50 per kg in business turnover of 91 lots. On similar lines, the metal for delivery in April shed 30 paise, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 111.85 per kg in 1,862 lots. 
Amid a weak trend in the global markets and subdued domestic demand, nickel prices dropped 0.67 per cent to Rs 889.90 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced their positions. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in April dropped by Rs 4, or 0.67 per cent, to Rs 889.90 per kg in a business turnover of 716 lots. The metal for delivery in May also fell by Rs 6.10, or 0.67 per cent, to Rs 898.20 per kg in a turnover of 102 lots.

NCDEX Tips And Agri Report For Today

In NCDEX Chana, below 4150, we may see selling pressure towards 4090 levels.

In NCDEX Oilseed and edible oil futures witnessed a weak trade during the last trading session. Soybean futures opened firm in line with the international markets to mark day high. However, sharp selling was seen at higher levels with no major demand in markets. Abiding the weak cues from futures market soybean ruled weak in the major markets of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. In major markets of Madhya Pradesh i.e. Indore soybean traded at 3427 per 100 kg. While in Maharashtra i.e. at Nagpur it traded at Rs 3468 per 100 kg and in kota at Rs.3508.6 Hence Soybean plants rates quoted mixed to weak witnessing down move in range of Rs.38-42 in major mandis, whereas witnessed up move in the range of 0-26 in other mandis. Soybean arrivals stood steady in Madhya Pradesh and reported at 25,000 bags on Saturday compared.

NCDEX Tips And Trend For Today

NCDEX Commodity Trend

  • NCDEX Jeera June: A downfall may continue towards 12250 levels for the day.
  • NCDEX Chilli June: If unable to sustain above 5000 levels, we can expect to see a lower correction towards 4750 levels.
  • NCDEX Chana June: Sideways to lower trading for the day.
  • NCDEX KAPAS April 2013: A pullback rally may seen, if prices hold the support of 910 levels for the day.
  • NCDEX Dhaniya June: Negative sentiments still persists, as long as prices caps the upside resistance at 3645 levels for the day.
  • NCDEX Turmeric June: If prices break below 3562, then a downside correction may be seen towards 3500 levels for the day.
  • NCDEX Refined Soy oil June: A strong support is seen at 709, breaks below the same with volume could see prices trade lower towards 709 levels.
  • Cardamom June: A major support is seen at 1281 levels, which if held, may see prices turn higher for the day.

MCX Silver Tips, Copper Updates, Gold Tips, Crude Updates 23 May 2012

Gold along with silver may continue to remain on volatile path with some profit booking can be seen at higher levels. Gold can trade in range of Rs. 28,900-29,200 and silver can trade in range of Rs. 53,700-55,000 in near term. Base metals counter can open with negative note tracking weak overseas cues. Copper may trade in range of Rs. 425-435 while Lead may trade in range of Rs. 107-109 and zinc in range of Rs. 104-107 in near term. Crude oil can also trade in range of Rs. 5,080-5,180 with positive bias.

MCX NCDEX Tips, Copper Updates, Gold & Silver Tips Today 16 May 2012

Gold along with silver may trade with weak bias due to euro zone crises and rising greenback. Gold can trade in range of Rs. 27,600-28,200 and silver can trade in range of Rs. 52,000-53,000 in near term. Base metals counter can trade in red tracking weak international markets. Copper may trade in range of Rs. 416-427 while Lead may trade in range of Rs. 107.5-109.5 and zinc in range of Rs. 103-104 in near term. Crude oil can further dip lower tracking weak international markets. Crude can trade in range of Rs. 4,950-5,100.

MCX Bullions Tips, Gold and Silver Updates:
Gold along with silver may trade with weak bias due to euro zone crises and rising dollar index. MCX Gold can trade in range of Rs. 27,900-28,300 and MCX silver can trade in range of Rs. 52,500-53,800 in near term.

Weekly MCX Gold, Silver, Crude oil Report 14 May - 19 May 2012

Gold is looking technically weak on charts. Last week Gold was trading in a bearish trend for most part of the week. In this week 27,900 will act as a major support in Gold and 29,100 will act as a major resistance. For this week traders can use sell on higher level strategy if Gold sustains below 28,300 then below 28,200 it can test the level of 28,050/ 27,910.

Silver is technically weak on charts. Last week Silver was trading on lower side for most part of the weak. For this week 53,000 and 51,450 are the major supports whereas 55,300 and 56700 are major resistance in MCX Silver. For this week traders can use sell on higher level strategy. If Silver sustains below the level of 53,400 then below 53,000 Silver can test the level of 52,520/ 52,000.

Crude is in a consolidation around lower levels. Last week Crude Oil was trading in a range of 5,260 to 5,120. For this week 5,000 and 4,840 will act as major supports and 5,270 and 5,490 will act as major resistance in Crude Oil. For this week traders can use sell on higher level strategy, if MCX Crude sustains below the level of 5,130 then below 5,100 it can test the level of 5,060/ 5,000.

MCX Gold & Silver Tips, NCDEX Live Tips, Copper & Crude Updates

Today MCX gold and silver are trading at negative prices. Gold is trading in the range of Rs. 28,300-28,500 and silver may touch the levels of Rs. 54,000 in upcoming trading session. MCX Gold Tips, Gold Updates:
Gold is technically consolidating on charts. Last week gold was trading in a range for most part of the week. In this week 28,600 will act as a major support in gold and 29,600 will act as a major resistance. For this next week traders can use sell on higher level strategy if gold sustains below 29,100 than below 28,950 it can test the level of 28,810/ 28,670.
