Cardamom futures down by 1.12% today

In the domestic market during the morning trade on Wednesday Cardamom futures were trading low as investors & speculators remained on the sidelines in the agri-commodity amid downtick in physical demand for cardamom in the domestic spot market. 

Further, sufficient supplies on high physical arrivals from the major cardamom producing regions, too influenced the downtrend in the domestic cardamom prices. 

At the MCX, for Nov. 2016 contract cardamom futures is trading at Rs 1,340 per kg, downward by 1.12 %, after opening at Rs 1340.20, against a last close of Rs 1355.20. It touched the intra-day lower of Rs 1340.

On Rising demand Cardamom futures little varied in morning today

During the morning trade Cardamom futures were little varied in the domestic market on Wednesday as investors & speculators build up new positions in the agri-commodity amid rise in physical demand for cardamom in the domestic spot market. Moreover, insufficient supplies amid restricted physical arrivals from the major cardamom producing regions, too supported the uptrend in the domestic cardamom prices.

At the MCX, cardamom futures for October 2016 contract is trading at Rs 1,140.20 per kg, up by 0.05 %, after opening at Rs 1,142.80, against a previous close of Rs 1,139.60. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 1,143.
