Mentha oil futures were trading high during morning trade in the
domestic market on Friday as investors & speculators indulged in building
up new positions in the agri-commodity amid rise in physical demand for mentha
oil from big consuming industries in the domestic spot market.
At the MCX, mentha oil
futures for December 2016 contract is trading at Rs 963.60 per kg, up by 0.65
per cent, after opening at Rs 959.40, against the last closing price of Rs
957.40. It touched the intra-day higher of Rs 963.90.
