Mentha oil
futures were trading high during morning trade in the domestic market on
Tuesday as participants build up new positions in the agri-commodity amid
uptick in physical demand for mentha oil from crucial consuming industries in
the domestic spot market.
At the MCX, mentha oil
futures for November 2016 contract is trading at Rs 974 per kg, upward by 0.67 %
after opening at Rs 964.20, against the previous closing price of Rs 967.50. It
touched the intra-day higher of Rs 975.10.
