DAILY MCX COMMODITY REPORT FOR 11 FEB 2014

GOLD
Gold prices traded higher by 0.56 per cent to Rs 28,914 per ten gram in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions in tandem with a firm global trend. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in April rose by Rs 160, or 0.56 per cent to Rs 28,914 per ten gram in business turnover of 1522 lots.

In a similar fashion, the metal for delivery in June traded higher by Rs 136, or 0.48 per cent to
Rs 28,549 per ten gram in 52 lots.

SILVER
Silver prices gained 0.80 per cent to Rs 44,722 per kg in futures trading today after participants enlarged positions amid a firming trend overseas.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March gained Rs 353, or 0.80 per cent
to Rs 44,722 per kg in business turnover of 2324 lots.

Likewise, the white metal for delivery in May moved up by Rs 358, or 0.79 per cent to Rs 45,659
per kg in 57 lots. Globally, silver gained 0.45 per cent to trade at 20.09 dollar an ounce in Singapore.
