Chana futures are trading marginally higher on some short covering at the lower levels. However the arrival pressure of the new crop continued to pressurize market sentiments. Traders however expect the domestic demand to rise at these lower levels in the coming days.
The contract for March delivery was trading at Rs 2436.00, up by 0.50% or Rs 12.00 from its previous closing of Rs 2424.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 59220 lots.
The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 2550.00, up by 0.55% or Rs 14.00 from its previous closing of Rs 2536.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 84600 lots on NCDEX.
