Silver futures prices sky-rocketed while, gold futures recovered on buying support during the evening session of trading on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) Wednesday.
Meanwhile, MCX's gold most active April contract traded at Rs 21,052/10 gm, up Rs 30 and moved between Rs 21,078-20,952/10gm. Contract volume was 13,390 lots.
MCX gold mini, most active April contract traded at Rs 21,090/10 gm, gaining Rs 61 and fluctuated between Rs 21,095-20,960/10gm. Volume was 17,552 lots.
Most active silver May contract spurted up by Rs 666 at Rs 54,195/kg and so far made intra-day high and low of Rs 54,310-53,591/kg so far. Volume so far was 31,271 lots.
MCX silver mini April contract gained Rs 624 at Rs 54,194/kg and traded between Rs 54,307-53,579/kg. Volume recorded 47,295 lots.
