Base metals mix, copper moves up

Base metals traded mix with most metals shedding marginally on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) Friday second half session. Copper futures recovered on LME bourse that boosted domestic prices as well to recoup along with it was aluminum that only managed to tad up. Other metals receded under selling pressure.
Aluminium December contract traded at Rs 114.70 per kg, up Re 0.25 and moved in the range of Rs 114.80- 113.70 per kg. Volume was recorded 1,601 lots.

Copper February futures quoted at Rs 438.10 per kg, up Rs 2.45 and traded in the range of Rs 438.70- 432.90 per kg. Total volume so far recorded 46,535 lots.

Lead December traded at Rs 113.30 per kg, down Re 0.65 and traded between Rs 115.80- 111.10 per kg. Total volumes recorded 10,428 lots.

Nickel December contract traded at Rs 1,260.90 per kg, down Rs 3.60 and traded between Rs 1,263.90- 1,245.70 per kg. Total volumes recorded 28,072 lots.

Zinc December contract traded at Rs 110.90 per kg, down Re 0.55 and traded between Rs 111.50- 109.90 per kg. Total volume recorded so far 9,717 lots.
