Mentha oil futures up by 0.65 % in morning trade

Mentha oil futures were trading high during morning trade in the domestic market on Friday as investors & speculators indulged in building up new positions in the agri-commodity amid rise in physical demand for mentha oil from big consuming industries in the domestic spot market.

At the MCX, mentha oil futures for December 2016 contract is trading at Rs 963.60 per kg, up by 0.65 per cent, after opening at Rs 959.40, against the last closing price of Rs 957.40. It touched the intra-day higher of Rs 963.90.

Mentha oil futures rise by 0.67% in morning

Mentha oil futures were trading high during morning trade in the domestic market on Tuesday as participants build up new positions in the agri-commodity amid uptick in physical demand for mentha oil from crucial consuming industries in the domestic spot market.

At the MCX, mentha oil futures for November 2016 contract is trading at Rs 974 per kg, upward by 0.67 % after opening at Rs 964.20, against the previous closing price of Rs 967.50. It touched the intra-day higher of Rs 975.10.

Mentha oil futures gain in market today

On Tuesday Mentha oil futures were trading high during the morning trade in the domestic market as participants extended their positions in the agri-commodity amid uptick in physical demand for mentha oil from major consuming industries in the domestic spot market.

Moreover, building up of new positions by traders in the spot market led by an increase in demand for mentha oil from consuming industries at the domestic spot market against insufficient stocks position on restricted supplies from producing regions, supported mentha oil prices at futures trade.

At the MCX, mentha oil futures for Oct. 2016 contract were trading at Rs 894.50 per kg, upward by 0.36 t after opening at Rs 893.30, against the last closing price of Rs 891.30. It touched the intra-day higher of Rs 896.70.

Mentha oil futures up 1.09% in market

During the morning trade Mentha oil futures were trading high in the domestic market on Friday as participants build up fresh positions in the agri-commodity amid pick up in physical demand for mentha oil from major consuming industries in the domestic spot market.

At the MCX, mentha oil futures for October 2016 contract were trading at Rs 892.60 per kg, upward by 1.09 % after opening at Rs 884.30, against the previous closing price of Rs 883. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 896.
